Voicerox Choir was established in November 2009 by singer and vocal coach Melanie Lewis-McDonald, as a way of bringing her professional experience in the rock and pop industry to her local community. There is no need to audition, you do not have to be able to read music and all abilities are welcome. So if you've always wanted to sing and haven't had the courage or the opportunity, or perhaps you have some experience but haven't sung for a while:

Whether you’re a complete novice or a total diva – we’re all waiting to hear just how YOUR VOICE ROX!

Each week we explore new harmonies and learn to sing in a number of contemporary musical styles. Over the last few years our repertoire has covered songs from a diverse range of artists, including Stevie Wonder, Take That, Prince, Queen, ELO, Adele, K D Lang, Coldplay, David Bowie, Cee Lo Green, Duran Duran- and many more; there is something to please everyone’s musical tastes at Voicerox. We are all about making wonderful sounds with our voices, singing great music – and loving every minute of it!

I have been a member of Voicerox for four years and Tuesday nights are my one evening where I think about nothing else and just enjoy singing with such a talented but focused group of people. The high point of our year was definitely our concert in the Hawth - a standing ovation well deserved.
